Summary:
This implementation plan for an online module organizes activities for understanding physical concepts and biological considerations regarding acoustic monitoring, and provides a Spanish version of the module.

Description

The main proposed adaptations to the module consist of providing a Spanish translation and splitting the original module into two sections of 70 min each (to be taught on different days) and adding a new activity. The first day is focused on a lecture and the second in practical activities. The implementation plan describes which lectures and activities are to be done in this module. I have added an additional activity related to the formulation of a scientific question and have proposed a methodology to answer it. For the time in between the two sections, there is a homework assignment corresponding to listening to a podcast. On the second day (practical activity), the students will have a short quiz about the previous lecture.

            Overview of Module: This module is an introduction to acoustic biodiversity monitoring. It focuses on the implications of sounds in nature, basic physical concepts to understand it and tools to perform data analysis.
