1<p>Have long-term temperatures changed throughout Ohio? How will these temperature changes impact plant and animal phenology, ecological interactions, and, as a result, species diversity?</p>  1<p>The module was implemented at Fairfield University by James Biardi.</p>

3<p>This teaching material allows students to:</p>

6   <li>produce and analyze graphs of temperature change using large, long-term data sets (synthesis, Analysis)</li>  6   <li><strong>Course</strong>:&nbsp;BI 260: Ecology&nbsp;</li>
7   <li>Develop&nbsp;methods for calculating species-specific shifts in flowering time with temperature change (Synthesis)</li>  7   <li><strong>Course Level</strong>:&nbsp;This course is intended for 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate majors in Biology. It is one of several courses that can fulfill their ecology/evolution/diversity block requirement in the major.</li>
8   <li>Describe the ecological consequences of shifting plant and animal phenology (Comprehension)</li>  8   <li><strong>Instructional Setting:</strong> Lecture &amp; Lab course</li>
9   <li>Evaluate data &quot;cherry-picking&quot; as a climate change skeptical tactic (Evaluation)</li>  9   <li><strong>Implementation Timeframe</strong>:&nbsp;The course ran 2 x 75 min/week of lecture and a 165 min/week lab for 15 weeks. The module was implemented as half of the lab period during weeks 12 and 13 of the course.</li>
