I like the flow chart, do you have a version for advanced classes that isn't telling students specifically what kind of graph to use based on the data type, but rather works from what you want to show backwards? I like the idea of a chart to help students know what to do but I wonder if turning the focus towards making an argument could help anyone figure out what they want to do.
