Biodiversity or biological diversity is the variety of and variability of biological life on Earth. Biodiversity is existing due to variation among living organisms from different sources air, water, land and may be other factors such as a climate. Biodiversity refers to in context to plants, bacteria, animals and humans. Climate is a pattern which can change from hour to hour, day to day, month to month and some instances even year to year. Pollution refers to the introduction of harmful materials and substances into the environment. The substances and materials are categorized into pollutants. Description

In this learning journal assignment students will collect, organize, represent, visualize and analyze climate, pollution and biodiversity data to explore and understand the co-relationship between biodiversity, climate and pollution. This assignment has been possible due to participation in Faculty Mentoring Network and IDEAS Fellowship from BioQUEST Consortium of National Science Foundation.
